Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center, just outside of Chicago, Illinois, is a leading rehab facility that helps women achieve freedom from addiction by encouraging them to take recovery ownership. We validate each woman’s disease and learn how to respond to the emotional conflict with compassion and love. We treat our patients as individuals and not the symptom. Our healing methods treat PTSD, chemical dependence, co-occurring disorders, alcoholism, and eating disorders.

Each patient undergoes a medical and psychiatric assessment to gauge how they are healed. Our staff provides patients with exceptional care, helping each woman re-discover her emotional, mental, spiritual, emotional, and social strengths. We offer a joyful campus environment to inspire positive wellbeing, recognizing any obstacles to recovery needed for each woman we treat.

For alcohol and drug addiction, we utilize a holistic method of healing and believe using one-on-one therapy sessions, expressive therapy and trauma awareness effectively heal patients. Medically-supported detox for alcohol and chemical abuse are facilitated by nurses, counselors, and/or doctors and ensure the body is free of substances and/or alcohol. We provide cutting-edge medications with cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectal therapy and feature gardening, yoga, soccer, dance/movement therapy, and art therapy to connect the mind and body.

Our patients have access to support groups and life-long alumni groups to encourage healthy relationships.  Family therapies integrates the warmth of family members in women’s recovery. This is a wonderful women's Residential Treatment Facility. It specializes in treating addiction, eating disorders, mood disorders, behavioral issues and dual diagnosis. There are adolescent lodges as well as adult. Very caring and compassionate and knowledgeable staff work at this facility!
