About Village Behavioral Health Treatment Center
Village Behavioral Health Treatment Center is Knoxville’s entrusted substance abuse treatment facility specifically for adolescents. Village Behavioral Health offers our young patients 2 distinct tracks for their growth and development. Our residential treatment gives adolescents facing substance abuse and mental disorders a calming place to grow and heal. New residents are assessed within 10 days to clarify their healing needs.
The Thrive Program offers effective behavioral treatment for 13 to 17-year-olds. This program also treats substance abuse disorders like heroin, benzodiazepine, marijuana, and prescription drug abuse. This residential program includes 12-Step themes and education on substance abuse to decrease the chances of a potential relapse. Our residents play games and practice creativity so they can work through their traumas in a healthy manner. Thrive also treats PTSD, suicidal ideation, and depression in youth.
Our Thrive Program also focuses on treatments according to the gender of our young residents. We allow family members to visit residents and offer support; we also offer family members sessions to educate them on boundaries and loving detachment. Village Behavioral Health Treatment Center is staffed with nutritionists, nurses, and doctors to ensure patients receive the best medical care, and we provide patients medication for detox. If your teen suffers from a mental or emotional disorder, or is abusing drugs, Village Behavioral Health Treatment Center is the perfect healing space.
