About Cedar Crest Hospital
At Cedar Crest Hospital & Residential Treatment Center, we treat more than just our patients’ addictions. We look for the co-occurring disorders and issues that pushed the individual toward temptation. Many times, someone is attempting to self-medicate for some kind of anxiety and eventually grows dependent on the substance. Without treating the true cause, the recoveree will just fall victim to the same temptation. That’s why we are constantly creating new, innovative programming for the different people we serve.
Sitting atop 30 acres in Central Texas, we believe treatment is more than just doctors and prescriptions. Building a life with healthy freedom is essential to eventually maintaining abstinence from substances on their own. Our nature trails, picnic areas, and state-of-the-art exercise equipment are only a few of our amenities. We provide everything someone could need for leisure, therapeutic recreation, and team building skills.
While the range and extensiveness of our treatment is what draws patients in, it is our values that set us apart from other clinics. We treat everyone who comes through our doors like family. We provide them a service to ensure an outcome that we would want for our own loved ones, but we don’t stop there. We don’t just believe in bringing people in but giving back as well. Our team volunteers in the surrounding community for charitable causes, especially in aid of the mentally ill.
