About Acadiana Treatment Center
Acadiana Treatment Center aims to break the cycle of addiction, identifying addiction as a physiological and psychological illness with terminal effects. As we heal our patients, we emphasize individual and group sessions, 12-Step meetings, and sponsorships to assist patients with achieving core change. We help them attain life-long recovery by offering effective coping skills for growth. We are located in peaceful Sunset, Louisiana where patients can achieve healing in a beautiful setting. We offer an open campus with medically monitored detox, a devoted staff, family involvement in group sessions, individualized treatment plans, and accountability. We also include daily activities to encourage social involvement.
We provide services for substance abuse disorders, including alcohol addiction, opioids, sedatives, tobacco, benzodiazepines, marijuana, and stimulants. Co-occurring disorders, such as anxiety, personality disorders, depression, trauma, and PTSD, are healed. We pride ourselves on employing an exceptional staff and offer therapists, medical doctors, psychiatrists, nurses, and addictionologists to better serve our patients. Our therapies, which accompany our medical detox, are vast and designed to cater to a variety of patients. We provide coping skills for patients to assist problem-solving, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), art therapy, motivational interviewing, defense mechanisms, rational emotive behavior therapy, anger management, relaxation groups, fitness, and recreational activities. Social companionship is important, and our patients can relax as they play pool, basketball, and ping pong.
Our residential treatment averages 30 to 90 days, and we offer continual patient care post-treatment. Our intensive outpatient program, which runs for 8 weeks, is available for patients who prefer the flexibility of treatment while maintaining their lifestyles out of our facility. To qualify, patients must be able to engage in a 12-Step program with minor monitoring. Our partial hospitalization program assists people who have finished residential care and require more intensive treatment without around the clock services. We provide discharge planning including other therapies unique to this form of treatment. Our extended residential care program averages 30 to 90 days and includes therapies like CBT and trauma-focused therapies, as well as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing. Medical concerns are also evaluated. Acadiana Treatment Center treats addiction with the attention and compassion our patients need for recovery support.
